about Metro Community

More About Metro Community Development

Metro Community Development has two overarching goals: maintaining community stability and stimulating community economic development. These goals align along the focus areas, as a community development continuum, Asset Building, Community Building, and Coalition Building. These goals drive the financial products and development services the organization provides to the investment area. As a Certified Community Development Financial Institution and SBA intermediary MCD provides a critical role in the region (Genesee, Lapeer, Saginaw and Shiawassee) by providing technical assistance and affordable financial products to clients who would otherwise be unable to obtain loans from traditional financial institutions.
